Op Reckoning - Mobile phone theft

Operation Reckoning is an intelligence‑led police operation focused on targeting Organised Criminal Groups (OCGs) involved in the large‑scale theft and handling of mobile phones. These offences are being committed through a variety of methods, including robbery, theft snatch and pick-pocketing (dipping).

Police are working hard to target these criminal groups, make arrests and return stolen property to the rightful owners. The initiative is part of wider efforts to improve public safety and security in public spaces across London.
